Inorder to reach Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities(Towns and Villages)India’s leading private bank HDFC has decided to join hands with India Post Payments Bank(IPPB).
As India Post Payments Bank has 4.7 Crores customers across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, with a view to grow their business HDFC Bank has made mutual understanding agreement with India Post Payments Bank(IPPB).
Currently India Post Payments Bank has 1,36,000 banking access points over 650 branches where this deal makes banking services much closer to the customers.
With a view to getting closer to the customers, HDFC Bank is planning to provide “Door Step Services” which is a great revolution in the banking services.
Almost 90% of the India Post Payments Bank(IPPB) customers are in villages and with this decision Tier 3 cities customers gets benefitted as they don’t have to visit bank premises for their banking needs.
